Harpenden Golf Club is hosting the English Senior Women's Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship 20-22 June 2017
- The 54-hole event is open to women aged 50 or over on the first day of the championship.
- The full field will play 18 holes on each of the first two days.
- Then the leading 45 competitors and ties will play the final 18 holes on the third day.
- The winner will return the lowest gross score over 54 holes.
Harpenden Golf Club is proud of its course and has received numerous accolades over the years as one that is maintained to the high standards required by the modern player. The club is looked after in this respect by a team of highly qualified Green staff under their Course Manager, Neil Robson. The main aims of the both Green staff and the club’s Green Committee are to improve overall standards and playing performance of the golf course and to carry out any necessary improvements to the drainage of the greens.
